April 30th- Rocklin, Ca; All About Painting
I've honed my techniques over the years to create beautiful, low maintenance color for my clients. And now, I'm eager to share my approach with a small group! This intimate class size of only 6 hairstylists means you'll have ample opportunity to ask questions, practice your techniques, receive feedback AND get your hands on a live model.
Freehand painting can be so useful when we fully understand the technique behind it.
I want to break it down all the way back to the basics and really dive deep into the how and the why so you can be successful with it behind the chair.
During this interactive look & learn we’ll cover:
- Details on Saturation, Tension, Elevation, Placement
- Single sided painting vs. double sided painting
- Application: The use of single painted pieces, full panels, deep v’s, etc.
- How to be efficient with your timing, placement and products
- Maintaining control over the hair/Body positions
- Consultation and Formulation talk
- Business/Social media info
& more!
Basically the how's & why's to everything that I do when it comes to painting! I want you guys to leave feeling not only inspired and excited to get creative behind the chair but confident in your ability to properly execute this technique.
After a lunch break, it's time to get hands-on with a live model so you can use the techniques right away. As a group, we’ll cover consultations with each model and lay out the game plan for her hair. I'll personally walk you through the process, providing one-on-one attention and guidance the whole time.
And that's not all! We'll take photos of your work, so you'll have a visual reference for future use and cover picture/video taking and editing and posing for our clients. This class is the perfect opportunity to expand your skills, perfect your techniques, and gain a new level of confidence behind the chair. I hope to see you there! Xo
